Look to the stars,
he said to me,
when you feel lonely,
it is there you will see:
The fullness and emptiness
of the clear open space.
Every aspect of grandeur
when you can't see my face.
The moon is your shield,
that protects you at night.
Warding off shadows
and giving you might.
The wind is a reminder
of my embrace-
of the last time I saw you,
remember that place?
The stars they shine
like my undying love.
So remember my dear,
always look above.
So when you can't remember,
or you feel alone...
remember my love,
it is like a stone.

Aphasiastic
I can't stand the pressure,
I like to speak,
words swirl in my head
like a clogged up sink.
My mouth doesn't work
when I want it to.
Like spirited sparrows,
my thoughts, they flew.
Watching each nuance,
gesture and blink.
I think I've figured it out-
I think, I think.
I like to speak,
words swirl in my head
like a clogged up sink.
My mouth doesn't work
when I want it to.
Like spirited sparrows,
my thoughts, they flew.
Watching each nuance,
gesture and blink.
I think I've figured it out-
I think, I think.

Consume
Sipping quietly.
Sipping it down.
Like velvet touch,
Down without a sound.
Like raindrops piercing
my senses and ears.
Spilled so loudly,
but for only my ears.
Bitter, yet sweet
with notes of pear.
Every utterance poured.
Not a note to spare.
Indulged by sensation
of taking you all in,
syllable by word,
they slip down like gin.
Sipping it down.
Like velvet touch,
Down without a sound.
Like raindrops piercing
my senses and ears.
Spilled so loudly,
but for only my ears.
Bitter, yet sweet
with notes of pear.
Every utterance poured.
Not a note to spare.
Indulged by sensation
of taking you all in,
syllable by word,
they slip down like gin.
