Consume

Sipping quietly.
Sipping it down.
Like velvet touch,
Down without a sound.

Like raindrops piercing
my senses and ears.
Spilled so loudly,
but for only my ears.

Bitter, yet sweet
with notes of pear.
Every utterance poured.
Not a note to spare.

Indulged by sensation
of taking you all in,
syllable by word,
they slip down like gin.
